Pattern information
This pattern started out as a full size 120cm x 150cm blanket. It was then adapted to a 65cm square stroller version. This is published as my Building Blocks Blanket pattern and includes the colour layout and yardage estimate for the larger size.
In testing the blanket pattern, a number of people were very interested in adapting the pattern to make washcloths and/or using varying weights of yarn, so I created the simpler and smaller washcloth pattern. It is also the perfect way to practise the techniques used on a smaller scale, as a first step to building your confidence. It is knitted in one piece using intarsia methods for colour changes.
